Who I am

 

For 30 years, I have provided professional and personalized bookkeeping services to individuals, solopreneurs and small businesses. My clients are everyone from lawyers and doctors to businesses with a handful of employees, freelancers and high-net worth retirees. What do they all have in common? Each of my clients seeks someone they could trust to keep their personal and business finances in order. With me on board, they are free to focus their valuable time and energy on other aspects of their personal and professional lives.

 

Why I do this

 

I didn’t grow up wanting to be a bookkeeper. I kind of fell into it. I was working in public relations in Los Angeles in 1986 when my boss learned his bookkeeper had been embezzling. He asked me to take on bookkeeping in addition to my other duties, and I soon discovered I had a knack for keeping the back office in order. In 1991, now living in New York City, I launched Faye's Back Office and have worked with numerous clients in New York, my former hometown of Baltimore, and further afield thanks to digital technology.
